About Us --

The South Berwick Sewer District was formed in 1964 to operate a sanitary sewer system in South Berwick. The district has approximately 1,200 members, 20 miles of sewer line and a modern tertiary treatment plant.

The treatment plant is located on Liberty Street with a licensed effluent discharge to the Salmon Falls River.

Meeting Times:

Trustees meet at 7:00 p.m. the first Monday of each month, normally in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall in South Berwick.
